The Department of Student Life will be continuing The Executive Leadership Series (ELS) to provide a baseline of instruction for organizational and financial management within registered student organizations on campus. The focus is for student leaders to critically examine University policies and resources, and to enhance organization productivity on campus.
The Executive Leadership Training Series will be comprised of two interactive Power Point Modules focusing on (I) Organization Structure, and (II) Financial Management. Both modules will be presented in a two-hour session. Each module is about 50 minutes in length. There will be a 15-minute break between the two modules. RSO leaders, especially presidents and treasurers, are expected to register and attend at least one of the sessions outlined below.
One Leader and Advisor in attendance per organization will receive a copy of the Registered Student Organization (RSO) Handbook at the end of the training session.
There are ten (10) sessions planned for spring semester, and each session will accommodate a minimum of 10, and a maximum of 50 participants on a first come, first serve basis.
