Non-disciplinary process

The MSU judicial system provides opportunities for students to challenge:

  • University regulations believed to be inconsistent with rights guaranteed to students in the "AFR";
  • Administrative decisions believed to be inconsistent with rights guaranteed to students in the "AFR";
  • Registered student organization decisions believed to be inconsistent with their constitution.

It is important to note that students wishing to pursue "non-disciplinary" action must first exhaust all other relevant and available means to resolve the apparent conflict.  In addition, conclusions reached through the non-disciplinary process are merely opinions made available to the general public, and to the disputing parties in question.  The University has no formal mechanism to enforce any conclusions reached through this process.
